MEDICAL TREATMENTS: - are any treatments provided by a qualified medical doctor. - eg in patient psychiatric treatment, out patient psychiatric treatment etc
Veterans are case managed by strategic partner VeteranHub.
Veterans can be referred to VeteranHub by any of the 8500 ESO/s in Australia and a range of charity partners. Veterans can also make contact directly with VeteranHub by phone or email or the webpage: www.veteranhub.org.au
When a VeteranHub case manager helps a Veteran choose a treatment or support and it is booked through VeteranHub from the list of approved treatments and practitioners that treatment becomes eligible for funding.
Veteran Finance then pays the bill direct to the practitioner for the treatment of that Veteran.
VeteranHub is currently expanding the range of treatments and practitioners certified as Veteran Friendly and Veteran Capable.
